What are fountains?
Fountains are the workhorses of a family display. They burn for 30 to 60 seconds, throw a cone of sparks several metres high, and make far less noise than aerial fireworks, which matters if you have young children, nervous pets or close neighbours.
Set them on a flat, firm surface, well away from anything that can catch. A row of fountains lit together makes an excellent opener before you move to aerial effects.
